Calasiao, Pangasinan – The pioneer Honda BigBike-exclusive shop in the Philippines officially opened in the heart of Pangasinan last November 18, 2024.
Motorcentrum Corporation, a subsidiary of the Guanzon Group of Companies, together with long-term collaborator, Honda Philippines, Inc., officially opened the Guanzon Honda BigWing 3S Shop – showcasing a line-up of the latest, hottest, and most sought-after big bikes of Honda.
The shop features a state-of-the-art service area, a games and amenities corner, and an apparel section. Also available in the store are the signature off-road bikes from the CRF line-up and the EM1 e:, Honda’s first-ever electric battery-powered scooter.
Days before the grand opening, Pangasinan faced stormy weather, which almost canceled the event once more. After a night of heavy rains, thunderstorms, and floods, a pleasant Monday was welcomed, allowing the celebration to proceed as intended.
Executives and key people from Guanzon and Honda attended the celebration, which was also graced by riders, enthusiasts, patrons, and the country’s most notable moto vloggers.
A motorcade featuring 60 of the finest Honda motorcycle riders in North Luzon opened the celebration. Then, Rev. Fr. Jay Agno officiated the store blessing ceremonies.
In his opening remark, Guanzon Group President, Mr. Guanson Y. Lo, elaborated on how the company is strengthening its stronghold—the northernmost region of the Philippines—as the BigWing Calasiao is the third Guanzon branch that caters to Honda BigBike.
Ms. Sayaka Arai, President of Honda Philippines, Inc., discussed Honda’s leap into the future of eco-friendly transportation after introducing its first e-motorcycle, the EM1 e:. She hopes that the e-vehicle’s unveiling will set a new standard for sustainable mobility in the country.
Chief Executive Officer of Guanzon Group, Mr. Joseph G. Lo, thanked the people from both Guanzon and Honda who made sure the grand opening was a possibility, despite battling storms that loomed the location.
Honda Philippines, Inc.’s Dealer Development & Training Section Manager, Mr. Erwin Estrada, detailed how BigWing aims to immerse Honda’s big bike line-up in a luxurious environment.
Ms. Alyssa Erasquin and the Lesfive Band serenaded riders, staff, and VIPs in attendance.
Later, a Big Bike Night was held for all Honda riders in attendance. Mr. JC Corona of Honda Philippines, Inc. held a Safety Riding Seminar for the riders present. Raffles, games, and more entertainment were also offered which made the night even more lively.
Guanzon Big Bike Section Head, Mr. Tristan Uy, capped off the night by thanking everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the Grand Opening of Guanzon Honda BigWing Shop.
Showcasing a luxurious facility and state-of-the-art amenities, the store not only made history by being the first BigWing shop in the country but also instantly became a new haven for big bike enthusiasts in North-Central Luzon.
