Guanzon was founded in Dagupan, Pangasinan as a hardware store and selling horse cart (kalesa) spare parts.
Guanzon inked a deal with Mariwasa Distributors Inc., becoming the pioneer dealer of Honda motorcycles in the City of Dagupan.
Guanzon introduced Suzuki Motorcycles in its inventories.
Guanzon ventured into the Automobile Business by partnering with Honda Cars Pangasinan which operated in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
United Excelsior Marketing Inc. (UEMI), was established; this year also marked the founding of the mobile phone retail venture of Guanzon.
Motorcentrum Corporation was established.
Guanzon Manila Office was opened for operations support in Roosevelt, Quezon City.
Guanzon signed a distribution deal with Yamaha Motor Phils.
Guanzon and Kawasaki Motors Phils signed a distribution partnership.
Guanzon marked its 65th year of ventures in motorcycles, automobiles, and telecommunications; The company also launched the “G-CARD” Program for its loyal clients.
Guanzon inked a partnership with Oppo Philippines.
UEMI Guanzon opened its first motorcycle branch in Palawan – UEMI Narra, Palawan.
The first Kawasaki Exclusive Shop under Guanzon opened in Roxas City, Capiz.
The company also opened its 100th shop at Tumauini, Isabela in Cagayan.
Guanzon celebrated its 70th founding anniversary with festivities held in Lingayen and Calasiao, Pangasinan, and Tarlac City.
The first OPPO Concept Store under Guanzon Mobitek opened in Robinsons Pangasinan.
In 2016, Guanzon Group acquired Pedritos Bakeshop & Restaurant, expanding its business in food industry. Los Pedritos Bakeshop & Restaurant officially opened in Tapuac District, Dagupan City in 2017.
Guanzon established new departments as its additional office for its support groups – Human Capital Management, Management Information System, and Telemarketing.
The Monarch Hotel was opened to the Public in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
