January 9, 2026—HONOR launched their yet toughest-to-date mid-range smartphone in a night filled with celebration and astonishment by challenging the tech game.
Held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, the event was graced by the presence of different media personalities, tech giants, and business partners.
From the jaw-dropping helicopter drop of its predecessor, the X9c, HONOR umped the ante with a bolder, boundary-bending new gimmick of introducing its newest model, the X9d, in an extravagantly impressive fashion.
“What’s tougher, a Tesla Cybertruck or the all-new HONOR X9d?” the question lingered the night which was then proven in a test of strength.
Living through their mantra of ‘Going Beyond the Ordinary’, HONOR proved that consumers can still attain quality products without the stigma of lavishness.
Concurrent with the release of the X9d, the company also honored some of their outstanding business partners for their contributions to the brand.
For its steadfast assistance to HONOR’s success, Guanzon’s Mobile Phone Group was included in the list of honorees.
Attended by the General Manager for Mobile Phone Group, Mr. Norman Tandoc, Department Head, Ms. Vina Young, and Area Head, Ms. Aleli Bautista, Guanzon was awarded the 2025 Annual Outstanding Contribution Award and the HONOR X9c Excellence in Contribution Award 2025.
The awards are not just a testament to the division’s success; it is also a mark of unrelenting perseverance of everyone in the Mobile Phone Division, as these awards would not be attained without the collective contribution of everyone for the past year.
